MEXICO… YOURS FOR THE TAKING!

You recline on a beach chair placed in the perfect spot. Before you, lies a sparkling ocean that changes from emerald and deep turquoise waters to a deeper blue.
The waves break just meters from you and the last stream of refreshing water runs through your feet. As you lounge under the sun, the waiter brings you an icy margarita. For a moment, you think you have died and gone to heaven.
But this paradise is real, and it is called MEXICO. However, Mexico is more than just white sand beaches…
Dear Traveler,
I want you to picture your every day life. If you’re like most people, you put in at least 8 stress-filled hours, sometimes more, five days of the week studying, working or taking care of your house and kids. You drag yourself out of bed early in the morning, and at night you’re so frazzled that all you can do is plop yourself in front of the TV before falling into bed again. You mutter the same line you’ve said every night for the last… how many months? “I need some vacation!”
Now, erase that gloomy picture from your mind…
…and instead, imagine yourself entering a stylish hotel room adorned with an exquisite Mexican decoration, a relaxing terrace, a private pool, and a breath-taking view to an endless ocean. Or arriving to a beautiful Mexican hacienda with 300 years of history trapped inside its large patios and high-beamed ceilings, just to put to the proof the legend that spirits of little children appear and disappear in its corridors.
Now, why don’t you go from imagining to actually living it? And that’s why we are here for, to help you decide the destination for your next trip. You guessed: MEXICO!
We love this country, and we’d like to explain something of our own fascination with it. You see, we are not the only ones who feel this way. According to the survey conducted by Travel & Leisure Magazine for the year 2004, the Mexican city of Oaxaca is among the ten most preferred tourist destinations in the world. And if we limit to the Latin America region, Mexico got the top scores among travelers’ favorite spots, with Oaxaca and San Miguel de Allende in the first and second places.
A land of infinite diversity.
Mexico is a creased land of sheer cliffs and deep valleys, humid jungles and arid deserts, calm beaches and mighty rivers. In just the first four months of the 2005, more than 7 and a half million foreign visitors came to Mexico to find out for themselves. That is about the population of Switzerland! And many of them visited not only our magnificent golden beaches, but also our picturesque villages, cosmopolitan cities and mystical towns. They marveled before our ancient ruins and colonial treasures. Some probably enjoyed a relaxing week in one of our luxurious wellness retreats and spas and, the most adventurous, took a train expedition to the unbelievable Copper Canyon and paid a visit to the Tarahumara villages.
Not only is Mexico one of the world's greatest destinations, home to the finest resort towns in the world and to the best diving and surfing… it is also home to what visitors say are some of the friendliest people on Earth. There are hundreds of millions of dollars being invested on infrastructure, including new highways and roads, electricity and telecommunications, beach installations, national airports, championship golf courses, swish marinas and new docks for cruise ships. Whatever your travel fantasy may be, Mexico can fulfill it!
In short, paradise is called MEXICO.
Consider our country as a place to visit in your next vacation by showing you spots that many people only dream of.
Hasta la próxima,
